WFO Membership Reinstatement

The American Association of Orthodontists strongly supports its sister WFO affiliate organizations, the WFO and mutual efforts to strengthen the specialty of orthodontics around the globe.

In recognition of this philosophy, the AAO re-instated the requirement that AAO International Members must hold a valid membership in the WFO.

To help facilitate AAO international members requiring reinstatement, a reinstatement form
has been developed and is available.

Please note: you do not need to get a WFO Affiliate Presidential signature again. As long as you were a WFO member in the past, the WFO will verify your membership in your affiliate organization on your behalf (a requirement for WFO active membership). If you were a student WFO member, have graduated and now wish to become a full member, complete the Student to Active membership form.  The WFO office will secure validation of your current membership in your listed national orthodontic specialty organization.  If you are still a student, you may use the reinstatement form, but will need to get the form signed by your orthodontic specialty program director. Student membership is only active during your orthodontic residency program.

If you are unable to download any of the application forms from this site, please contact our administrative secretary at wfo@wfo.org .

Please update all your information on the form, print the form, sign the form where appropriate, indicate your payment method and return by secure e-mail: wfo@wfo.org or
