WFO Membership Re-instatement

The American Association of Orthodontists strongly supports its sister WFO affiliate organizations, the WFO and mutual efforts to strengthen the specialty of orthodontics around the globe.

In recognition of this philosophy, the AAO re-instated the requirement that AAO International Members must hold a valid membership in the WFO.

To help facilitate AAO international members requiring re-reinstatement, a re-reinstatement form is being developed and will be available shortly. The normal WFO re-instatement fee of $75 will be waived if re-instatement is complete before May 31, 2020. Of course, if you are reinstating your membership in part to maintain AAO International membership, you will want to do so immediately.

If you wish to be re-instated in the WFO immediately, you may use the existing WFO membership formPlease note: you do not need to get a WFO Affiliate Presidential signature again. As long as you were a WFO member in the past, the WFO will verify your membership in your affiliate organization on your behalf (a requirement for WFO active membership). If you were a student WFO member, have graduated and now wish to become a full member, complete the Student to Active membership form.  The WFO office will secure validation of your current membership in your listed national orthodontic specialty organization.  If you are still a student, you may use the WFO Student membership form, but will need to get the form signed by your orthodontic specialty program director.

Please update all your information on the form, print the form, sign the form where appropriate, indicate your payment method and return by secure e-mail: wfo@wfo.org or
