World Federation of Postgraduate Orthodontic Students seeks candidates for 5 board positions for 2017-2018 term
The World Federation of Postgraduate Orthodontic Students (WFPOS) is seeking candidates for the 2017-2018 term of the WFPOS Board. Interested individuals may run for president, vice president, secretary or councilor. Two councilor positions are available. The vice president and secretary positions are new.
The WFPOS, founded in 2014 by WFO student member Dr. Karolina Kaczor-Urbanowicz, promotes communication among the postgraduate orthodontic students who belong to the WFO. WFO student members may join the WFPOS for free. In the past, the WFPOS members have met at various international meetings, and they engage regularly through an online forum. To date, the organization has 544 members.
All WFPOS members are eligible to apply for the open positions. Interested candidates must submit a short personal biography (100 to 150 words) and indicate the position to which they are applying. Applications must be sent to wfpos.wfo@gmail.com.
The candidates will be announced on the WFPOS online forum. All WFPOS members will be able to vote anonymously online.
The current president is Dr. Kaczor-Urbanowicz of Poland. The two councilors are Dr. Radost Velikova of Bulgaria and Dr. Keti Yovcheva of Bulgaria.
