Global Orthodontic Educators Forum

The World Federation of Orthodontists is pleased to invite you to this WFO-sponsored events featured during the Asia Pacific Orthodontic Congress in Singapore from the 5th to the 8th of November, 2026.

This forum is designed to bring together educators from across the globe to foster collaboration in teaching and research and to develop new strategies to enhance orthodontic education. Two keynote educators with a global perspective will present their work followed by a round table discussion amongst educators to collaborate and network. Our proposed programme will be as follows:

Title: Teaching Orthodontics Today: What Should we Keep, Change and Rethink

Total duration: 4 hours (including a tea break)

Proposed format:

• Opening & welcome remarks by WFO President: 15 min 
• 1st Keynote lecture Prof Maris Conelis: 45 min 
• 2nd Keynote lecture (to be discussed): 30 min (subtopic of the main theme) 
• Coffee break: 30 min 
• Interactive workshop: 60 min 
• Summary & key takeaways: 20 min 
• Closing remarks and group photo: 10 min
