Dear WFO Fellows,
With a heart full of joy and gratitude, I extend my warmest wishes to you for a happy, healthy, and inspiring New Year. As we close one remarkable chapter and step into the next, I am deeply moved by the dedication, passion, and unity each of you brings to our global WFO family.
This past year has been truly extraordinary because of you. Together, we shared memorable moments at the Global Educators Symposium, the Society of Orthodontic Specialty Certification Boards Symposium, and—most notably—the inaugural Future Leaders in Orthodontics (FLOS) Symposium. These milestones remind us of what is possible when our community comes together with a shared commitment to excellence.
The launch of our new WFO website and Education Portal is already strengthening global connections through learning and mentorship, while the elevation of the JWFO to a Q1 journal stands as a powerful testament to the scientific rigor and dedication of our members worldwide.
As I step into the role of WFO President, I do so with humility, enthusiasm, and deep respect for the legacy entrusted to us. The journey ahead is one of collaboration, innovation, and growth—leading us toward the 11th International Orthodontic Congress in Milan in 2030. I look forward to working alongside each of you to strengthen our bonds, encourage new ideas, and continue elevating our specialty on a global stage.
Let us celebrate not only our achievements, but the people behind them—our colleagues, mentors, and friends who make the WFO such a vibrant and supportive community. Through our annual WFO Awards, World Orthodontic Health Day, webinars, and every JWFO article we read and share, we continue to learn from one another and advance our profession together.
May the New Year bring you renewed joy, inspiration, and fulfillment through meaningful collaboration. I am truly grateful for each of you and look forward to all that we will accomplish together.
