The WFO 10th International Orthodontic Congress (IOC) will be filled with unique opportunities to learn from renowned colleagues and emerging stars from orthodontic lecture halls around the world.
Set to take place from October 22–25, 2025, at the state-of-the-art Riocentro Convention and Event Center in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this global event will feature 239 speakers from 66 countries, presenting their latest research and innovations on a wide range of high-interest topics in orthodontics.

The host organization is the Brazilian Association of Orthodontics and Facial Orthopedics (ABOR).
Welcoming IOC attendees to the conference and to Rio will be leaders and members of ABOR, under the leadership of ABOR President Dr. Carla d’Agostini Derech.
Orthodontists from throughout Latin America are also expected at the IOC. The Latin American Association of Orthodontics (ALADO) brings together the 11 Latin American orthodontic associations affiliated with the WFO.
Dr. Ricardo Cruz of the WFO Executive Committee and the IOC Planning Committee has been elected as the incoming ALADO president. He and his fellow ALADO leaders also look forward to welcoming IOC attendees from around the world to Latin America.
