About Us
The Greek Orthodontic Society
The Greek Orthodontic Society (GOS) is the oldest and largest orthodontic scientific society in Greece, celebrating 60 years of activities in 2023. Founded in 1963, our mission is to promote the field of orthodontics and support orthodontic specialists throughout Greece. We are a proud founding member of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) and the European Federation of Orthodontics (FEO).
Through continuous professional development, we organize a variety of educational and scientific events, with the National Congress and International Symposium being our most prominent initiatives. Over the years, we have organized 26 National Conferences and 17 International Symposia, alongside countless other seminars aimed at advancing the practice of orthodontics in Greece.
As part of our commitment to knowledge-sharing, we also publish the only bilingual orthodontic scientific journal in Greece, the Hellenic Orthodontic Review.
