WFO Membership Classifications:
Fellow: This classification of membership is available to any orthodontic specialist that is a full member of a national or regional association of orthodontists that is affiliated with the WFO and provided he or she resides within the jurisdiction of such association.
Academic Member: This classification of membership is available to a non-orthodontist engaged in full-time education or research relating to orthodontics at an accredited institution defined by a national or regional association of orthodontists affiliated with the WFO.
Student Member: This classification of membership is available to a full-time orthodontic student or resident in an accredited orthodontic program as defined by a national or regional association of orthodontists affiliated with the WFO.
Retired Member: This classification of membership is available to any former WFO Fellow who has retired from the active practice of orthodontics and/or retired from full time teaching or research
